Known from the Lake Victoria drainage (Ref. 52331, 97924). Records from the Athi River (Ref. 4904, 30558, 36900) might refer to this species (Ref. 52331). Most likely there are no mastacembelids in the Tana River despite some records (Ref. 52331). |
