Found in the Iberian Peninsula (Ref. 119049). Scattered populations occur in Rivers Duero and Ebro, and very local in River Tajo. Population is declining due to habitat destruction, water pollution and introduction of exotic fish predators. Also Ref. 6376, 11240, 32724, 79582, 84436.
