Abundant in the mouth of the Manamo and Macareo channels of the Orinoco delta and in brackish waters of the Maracaibo system (Ref. 9626). Found in Pedernales channel, mouth of Pedernales channel - Cotorra Island, Mánamo channel - Güinamorena, Guanipa river - Venado channel, Manamito channel and mouth of Bagre (Ref. 51849). Taken by shrimp trawlers but of little fishing importance (Ref. 9626). |
