Known from northern Lake Malawi [= Nyasa] and its catchment (Ref. 4967, 118630, 118638), including crater Lake Itamba (Ref. 118638) and Lake Ikapu (Ref. 118638). It tends to be restricted to the main lake and does not penetrate far upstream into rivers (Ref. 118638). |
