Type locality of the holotype of Nothobranchius ottoschmidti: 'Tanzania: residual pool at a bridge over the Manonga River, about 1 km south of Walezo village or 31 km north of Nzega, on Shinyanga-Nzega road, 03°57.8'S 33°08.5'E' (Ref. 122068). Known from seasonal pools and marshes associated with the Wembere and Manonga river systems (Ref. 122068), Igombe and Kigosa rivers of the Gombe/Malagarasi system (Ref. 122068), and smaller streams draining into Lake Victoria (Ref. 122068). |
