Comments

Occurs in east coastal esturies and rivers from Breƫ River to Kosi Bay. Also reported from Great Kei to the Kromme (Ref. 74752). Populations have declined due to obstruction, by dams and weirs, of free passage into rivers. Juveniles identified in samples with identification key provided (Ref. 74906). Translocated from the Keiskamma River estuary into Binfield Park Dam (Ref. 94789). Also Ref. 3573, 4393, 27553.
