Found in River Soca, where it is almost extirpated due to the invasion of a competitor Chondrostoma nasus (Ref. 59043). Population has declined in Adriatic river basin due to transplantation of Chondrostoma nasus from Danube River basin. Conservation measures include artificial propagation and stocking (Ref. 90061). Also Ref. 26100. Status of threat: Regionally extinct (Ref. 119201). |
