It is not known if this common inshore Indo-West Pacific shark occurs in the Philippines, although it is found in adjacent areas like South China Sea and Gulf of Thailand. However, this species prefers coastal areas of reduced salinity like large river estuaries, and such habitats are largely absent in the country (Ref. 47737). |
