First collected in Quingua River, near Calumpit, Pampanga; reported from Navotas, Manila; Baybay creek, a tributary of Lake Buhi; Apo Reef, west of Mindoro; and in bangus fishponds of Bulacan and Pampanga (Ref. 12748).
