Type locality of the holotype of M. chekopae: 'Malawi: Lake Malawi, SE Arm, off Chekopa on the eastern shore' (Ref. 41276). Known from NE shore of SE arm of Lake Malawi, at the trawl stations Chekopa, Chilinda and Chiponda (Ref. 41276). Found at Chimwalani Reef, Maleri Island and Nakantenga Island (Ref. 79521). |
