In 2015, seven adult specimens (12.3-18.5 cm TL) caught off the coast of Fao City and Khor al-Zubair area, Basrah, northwestern corner of the Arabian Gulf (29°47’55.71”N-48°43’32.9”E) represent species presence in Iraqi marine waters after 27 years. Its first appearance was documented in 1988 (Ref. 117360). Reported from Khor Al-Zubair, North-West of the Arabian Gulf (Ref. 51878). |
