P. Bianco collection: tributary of Araxes river near Maku (Caspian Sea drainage), (4.5-6.8 cm SL, I.S.B.B. uncatalogued and I.Z.A. 7849) (Ref. 47064). Known from waters on the borders of Iran or confluent with Iranian drainages. Reported from Caspian Sea (Ref. 47532). Recorded from the following localities: Karkheh River at Kashkanrud, Lorestan province; Leylehrud River at Shervineh west of Javanrud, Kermanshah province; Little Zab, West Azarbaeijan province (Ref. 115584).
