Reported from Tung Ping Chau (Ref. 94637); and Cape D'Aguilar (Ref. 129329). Also reported from Port Island, Nam She Wan, and Sham Wan. Only a single individual was seen at each site, hiding in coral areas and rocky reefs. One of the largest rays in Hong Kong (Ref. 128523). The species was observed on 2 to 10 occasions during 400 dive surveys on artificial reefs (Ref. 119494). |
