Type locality (Ref. 48636). Recorded from A Ma Wan in Tung Ping Chau, at a depth of 0 to 2.8 meters (Ref. 119714). Also reported from Sharp Island, Hoi Ha Wan (Ref. 94637); Cape D'Aguilar, and Yan Chau Tong (Ref. 129329). Juveniles recorded from Ma Shi Chau, Starfish Bay, Three Fathoms Cove, and Lai Chi Chong (Ref. 125536). Adults in small schools were also recorded from a submarine cave in Conic Island (Ref. 125576). The species was observed more than 200 occasions during 400 dive surveys on artificial reefs (Ref. 119494). Sold in live fish markets (Ref. 125552). Also Ref. 7247, 125586, 128523. |
