Comments |
One of the most popular species cultured in Hong Kong (Ref. 12092). Reported from Cape D'Aguilar (Ref. 33067); and Sharp Island (Ref. 94637). Also reported from Mirs Bay, Tolo Channel, and Tolo Harbour (Ref. 126271). The species was observed on 101 to 200 occasions during 400 dive surveys on artificial reefs (Ref. 119494). Sold in live fish markets. Caught using hooks and lines (Ref. 125552). Majority of the wild caught fish being sold are still juveniles.
