Occurs in the waters southwest of Greenland. Often caught in trawls (Ref. 9926). Reported to occur up to 782 m; common around southern Greenland. Records of Myxine occurring deeper than about 800 m around Greenland probably pertain to M. jespersenae (Ref. 119696). Also Ref. 86838. |
