Known from Guangdong Province in the drainages of Longjin He and its river mouth, Dong Jiang, Bei Jiang, Xi Jiang and Zhu Jiang delta (Ref. 33345). Also found in Jiulongjiang and Zhanghe rivers of Fujian Prov. and some rivers in Hainan Is. (Ref. 45563). Known from Haifeng's lianhua mountain, Zhaoqing's Dinghu mountain of Guangdong Province(Ref.33782). Also Ref. 26563.
