Found in flowing streams with sandy bottom and overhanging grasses and emergent vegetations in Sylhet. Most specimens were collected from Rangapani khal, 7 km north west of Jaintiapur. Also recorded from Mohananda and other rivers of North Bengal, Piyan gang river near Sangrampunji, Sylhet. |
