Present in the Chiloango drainage (Cabinda Province) (Ref. 81639, 120641) and further south in the lower reaches of Angolan Atlantic coastal rivers, including the Cuanza (Ref. 120641). Also in the southern Congo River basin (Ref. 120641). Reports from the rivers Lucala (Cuanza basin) and Bengo (south of the Congo River) are misidentifications of B. miolepis miolepis according to Ref. 11970, but these rivers are within the distribution area given in Ref. 120641. |
