पृष्ठीय रीढ़ (सम्पूर्ण): 4; पृष्ठीय सौफट रेज़ (सम्पूर्ण): 8; गुदा कांटा 3; ऐनल सौफट रेज़: 5. Preserved color brownish dorsally, yellowish on sides and belly, silvery luster all over; lips and snout tip edged with black; fin rays dusky; scales above lateral line outlined by a band of minute black spots. Longitudinally radiating lines on scales. 9 scales between nape and dorsal; 2-2.5 scales between ventral origin and lateral line. Snout pointed.
