Comments: Recorded from Nalvo Luna, La Union; Kalumpang R., Norzagaray and Ibo Creek, near Angat R., Bulacan; Nanang R., Antipolo, Rizal (Ref. 439), Loku R., Montalban, Rizal; lake above Ormoc ('Orneo'), Leyte; and Oriwong tollgate, Nueva Vizcaya (Ref. 280). Described from specimens collected from Irid River, Sta. Ines, Rizal and Banaban R., Angat, Bulacan, Philippines. Endemic status computed from FishBase data (country records, occurrences records in literature and in point data) on 16/07/08. Also Ref. 4735.
