Comments: Known from Lower Orange (Ref. 33857). Only species of the three, from the family Austroglanididae (all occurring in southern Africa), which is listed in Namibia (Ref. 52863). Red listed fish species (IUCN 1994 in Ref 52863).

Biologia     Glossário (ex. epibenthic)

Occurs in rocky habitats in flowing water, favoring rapids. Feeds on invertebrates, especially insects, taken from rock surfaces; larger specimens also take small fish. Rarely caught by anglers (Ref. 7248).
