Comments: Known only from Dhofar and Masirah I. Museum: market in Mutrah, CAS 73319 (holotype of C. nigrotaenia, 31.1 cm Sl, male). Off Ras Madrakah, BPBM 34503 (paratype of C. nigrotaenia). Masirah I., E side, BPBM 36167, 36168, 36170. NW side, wreck of 'Electra', BPBM 36183, 38580; USNM 329442. Salalah, near harbor entrance at Raysut, BPBM 36057 (Ref. 33411).
