Diagnosis: body depth and head length 4-5x SL; eye diameter slightly greater than snout length 2.5-3.6x of head length; scale formula 6.5-8.5/52-63/7.5-8.5; 10-12 anal fin branched rays; 16-19 dorsal fin branched rays (Ref. 2936, 86396).
体高与头长 4-5 x SL。 尾柄 1.2-2.5 倍于高的。 眼直径些微大于吻的长度 2.5-3.6 倍于头长。 胸鳍短于头长。 脂鳍没有鳞的。 尾鳍有鳞的在基底, 叶尖与相等的。 对比的黑色侧面的条纹用淡黄色的身体与黑色的斑点在背鳍的顶端上。
