পৃষ্ঠীয় কাঁটা (মোট ) : 0; পৃষ্ঠীয় নরম পাখনা দন্ড (মোট ) : 98 - 105; পায়ূ কাঁটা : 0; পায়ূর নরম পাখনা্তুন্ড: 78 - 84. Upper side of body and fins pale brownish with dark spots and blotches; 2 lateral lines on eyed side, none on blind side (Ref. 4418).

Enters brackish waters (Ref. 6805). Feeds on small invertebrates (Ref. 5213).
