পৃষ্ঠীয় কাঁটা (মোট ) : 0; পৃষ্ঠীয় নরম পাখনা দন্ড (মোট ) : 12 - 14; পায়ূ কাঁটা : 0; পায়ূর নরম পাখনা্তুন্ড: 12 - 14. Body dark iridescent blue above, silvery white below; pectorals and caudal fin greyish or brownish, other fins unpigmented (Ref. 2797). Juveniles with black bars (Ref. 2797).
