Taggstrålar i ryggfenan (totalt): 0; Mjukstrålar i ryggfenan (totalt): 10; Taggstrålar i analfenan 0; Mjukstrålar i analfenan: 7; Ryggkotor: 27. Diagnosis: A small species of Garra with smoothly rounded snout tip, rostral lobe present, proboscis absent, predorsal region, chest and abdomen scaled, two pairs of barbels, lateral line scales 31, circumpeduncular scales 16.

This species can be a potential aquarium fish (Fang, 2004, pers. comm.)
