Distribution: Eurasia: rivers of the Black Sea coast in Russia and Abkhazia in Georgia (from west to east): Psezuapse, Shakhe, Mzymta, Psou (Chakhtsutsyr Stream), Bzyb’, and Mokva. Berg (1948) reports ammocoetes from near Novorossiysk that he assigns to E. mariae, but these may belong to L. ninae.
