Distribution: Eastern Pacific: Bering Sea coast of Alaska and the Aleutian Islands to Crescent City, northern California, USA. Early records might be misleading since Pholis laeta was once considered identical to Pholis ornatus and was recorded as Pholis ornatus (Ref. 4925).
