Remarks Occurs throughout most of the Baltic Sea, from the Kattegat up to the southern Gulf of Bothnia and the western Gulf of Finland. ICES recognizes a western and an eastern stock. HELCOM: endangered; considered a high priority species (Ref. 83294.
