Espinas dorsales (total): 0; Radios blandos dorsales (total): 0; Espinas anales 0; Radios blandos anales: 0; Vértebra: 113 - 124. Greatly reduced fins restricted to the end of the tail. Mouth containing numerous needle-like teeth. Uniformly brown anteriorly becoming covered with darker brown spots on the tail.
