Spine dorsali (totale): 0; Raggi dorsali molli (totale): 161; Spine anali 0; Raggi anali molli: 107. Dorsal filament 3 times longer than eye diameter; pectoral fins rather short, not reaching to anus when appressed. Lateral line extending to below middle of second dorsal fin. Color is gray-reddish; body with small black dots; abdomen black (Ref. 1371).
