Dorsale zachte stralen (totaal): 96; Anale zachte stralen: 50; Wervels: 86. Belongs to the short-skulled species-group of Monognathus. Anterior dorsal fin-ray above vertebra number 4, five vertebrae between anus and anal fin, length of pectoral fins 9.5% and posterior urostyle filament 53% of total length.
Length measured from tip of snout to base of urostyle.
