Rückenflossenstacheln (insgesamt): 0; Rückenflossenweichstrahlen (insgesamt): 13; Afterflossenstacheln 0; Afterflossenweichstrahlen: 9. Outer rostral barbels very long, reaching lower front corner of opercle; 8+8 branched caudal-fin rays; nostril flap pointed, reaching eye; body dark brown, 6-15 white or yellow bars most prominent in postdorsal body.

Biologie     Fachlexikon (Englisch) (z.B. epibenthic)

Found in streams; restricted to microhabitats with moderate flowing water and never in riffles or waterfalls. Associated with S. hingi and Oreoglanis sp. (Sisoridae).
