背棘 (總數): 0; 背的軟條 (總數): 6-8; 臀棘 0; 臀鰭軟條: 6 - 7. Caudal fin rounded (Ref. 9002). Pelvic fins united into moderate-sized double sucking-disc, posterior half with fleshy margin (Ref. 9002). Color variable, usually plain greenish to dusky brown, often with numerous small dark spots (Ref. 9002).
