背的軟條 (總數): 85-91; 臀鰭軟條: 69 - 75. Head moderately large, robust, ovoid, dorsal profile strongly flattened. Gill slit in large specimens extends to lower edge of pectoral fin, slightly above in small specimens. Yellowish with brown mottling in color.
頭部普通大的﹐結實的, 卵形的, 背面輪廓強烈地平的。 鰓縫在大的個體中延伸到胸鰭的下緣, 在小的標本中略上方。 淡黃色的有褐色的雜斑顏色。
