Africa: Ogun and Oshun rivers in Nigeria (Ref. 3203) and Mono in Togo (Ref. 13331). Affinities: meristically close to Marcusenius senegalensis; difference only in the body form and caudal peduncle.

比背鰭基底/臀鰭基底 =0.8-0.9; 體長/SL 比 =2.9-3.3 梗 1.9-2.0 倍於高。
