Pigmentation: dorsally on notochord; three clusters (5-12 each) below midline at myomeres 24-25, 46-51, and 80-84; dorsally on gut, heavier past liver; ventrally on gut, heavier before liver. Sequence of fin development: dorsal and anal and caudal, pectoral.
