Comments: | Spawning occurs at a depth of 60 to 80 m, in zones where the current is strong enough to prevent harmful material sedimentation. Spawning is spread out from the end of November to January. The number of eggs spawned is 1,000 for every kilo of female (Ref. 2196). |
