Comments: Each female fish probably only spawns once each season (Ref. 6390). The sex ratio of adults varies, females usually predominating in longline catches except on the spawning grounds where males are more prevalent (Ref. 6390). Spawning activity from a later study was observed between 18-31°S, 150-175°E (Ref. 92477).
