Comments: | Pupping occurs during winter, with 2 pups of about 100 cm TL; gestation lasts from 8-9 months.; oviphagus; size at birth 95 to 105 cm (Ref. 247). It has been proposed that sand tigers are only pregnant in alternate years, that the reproductive cycle is at least 2 years, with only 2 pups per litter (Ref. 32438). |
