Comments: Maturing western Australian salmon move rapidly (Ref. 27996) from southeastern States to the south coast of Western Australia in mid to late summer (Ref. 27977). They follow the coastline closely before joining local pre-spawning adults in southern Western Australia (Ref. 6390). Peak in spawning activity takes place from March to early May (Ref. 27960, 27961). Some post-spawning adults return eastwards, but not as far as South Australia (Ref. 6390).
