Additional Characters In a study on the Patuxent River estuary in Maryland, eggs showed a size-salinity relationship (Ref. 40808). Maximum egg size occurred at 15 ppt (Ref. 40808). Egg incubation period is short, from 24-36 hours (Ref. 40807).
