| Comments | Species does not exist in Cape Verde Islands, mistaken records. The photo in Monteiro (1998) shows Serranus atricauda; only S. atricauda was captured in the survey by Menezes et al. (2004). To our knowledge Serranus cabrilla does not exist in the Cape Verde Islands. Mistaken records. |
