This article describes a new species of Paraloach collected from Xigu Township, Wenshan City, Wenshan Prefecture, Yunnan Province, and named Wenshan Paraloach (Homatula wenshanensis Li, Yang, Li et Liu sp.nov.) after the county where it was collected. The new species is similar to Paraloach (H. disparizona Min, Yang et Chen 2013), but has the following characteristics that can be clearly distinguished: 1. The new species caudal fin fork Vs is slightly concave; 2. The tail stalk length is 19.67% of the body length 2 4.44% (22.06%) Vs of the 15.80% 2 0.50% (17.70%);. height of the body. 3 peduncle length% 5.74 . 7 I.76% (6.91%) Vs of the 8.80% . 1 0.80% (9.90%);. 4. The tail stem height is 27.27% of the tail stem length 3 5.00% (31.37%) Vs 47.00% 6 2.00% (55.90%); 5. Spine (4+47 4 8) Vs (4+39 4 0). |
