Daughter of Oedipus and Jocasta, who defied her uncle, king Creon, by performing funeral rites over her brother Polynices and was condemned to be immured in a cave (Ref. 45335).
  Etymology of specific epithet  
From the Latin 'qui pro qua', meaning 'one instead of another', referring to the change of name as almost all specimens, including holotype of this species, were included as paratypes in the type series of Antigonia saya.
