  Etymology of specific epithet
The name is from the Latin adjectives findo (split), and labium (lip), in reference to posterior edge of the oral sucking disc with a median fissure and divided it into two lamellas (Ref. 75600). However, the compound word 'findolabium' is unambiguously a noun and since there are no others spellings of 'findolabium' within the original description (that it cannot be ascribed to be an inadvertent mistake\0 and the usage is persistent and has been used by later authors, the epithet is treated as a noun in apposition and remains unchanged (Ref. 129011).
