Comments: | Frequently found along the Lao-Thai border as a result of stocking in areas recently sprayed with DDT. Its occurrence can often be interpreted as an indicator that the area has been sprayed and that the fish communities are much impacted and depleted. Does not survive well during the rainy season floods and is restocked annually. Feral stocks occur near Pakse. Ref: |
