Comments: | A lessepsian migrant. Recorded from the entire coastline from Iskenderun Bay to Fethiye Bay, Mersin and Levantine coasts, where abundance is higher at the northeastern Levant and reducing westward (Ref. 94612). Yearly catch by purse seines (fishing with lights) and trawls in 30-50 m does not exceed 50 t (Ref. 6328). Also Ref. 50162.
