Environment:  demersal; brackish; marine
Distribution:  Western Pacific: estuarine zone of the Mekong, including the high estuarine tidal zone considerably upstream from the coastal province of Bac Lieu, Viet Nam.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in estuarine areas, including the high estuarine tidal zone. Feeds on benthic invertebrates. Sold fresh, often in mixed catches in the Mekong delta (Ref. 12693).

Country info:  Known from estuarine zone of the Mekong, including the high estuarine tidal zone considerably upstream from the coastal province of Bac Lieu (Ref. 12693). Also reported from Song Hau Giang (a branch of the Mekong River also known as the Bassac River) (Ref. 87929). In range 12041.
